My name is Mary Strong, and I am a graphic designer living in the good old Valley of the Sun. Design is my passion, and I've been known to be pretty handy with print and web design. My tools of the trade include Adobe Suite CS4, as well as iWork/Microsoft Office Suite.

I am self-motivated and extremely detail-oriented with exceptional verbal and written communication skills. I love the process of taking an idea and creating something that is new and exciting. I take great pride in my work and excel both in working on my own and in team projects. My range extends from print to web to flash. I went ot school at ASU, and was trained in traditional design, such as printed materials, as well as basic HTML/CSS web sites that focus on design, navigation, structure, and ease of use for the end user.

Ever since I was little, I've had a love of design. I remember making my younger sisters play fort with me, simply so that I would have an excuse to make a "list" of the key essentials to bring into the fort. What adventurer would build a fort without a carefully designed list of fort-building requirements? My love of all that is pretty extends to every part of my life. It pains me when I see poorly designed ads, and I cringe whenever anyone uses Comic Sans. (Ewww!) I have an obsession with clean, modern design. I believe in the old saying "Simplicity is key". Attention to detail is what distinguishes ordinary from memorable design. My goal is to help others to see the beauty and importance of great design. I want to create a product that leaves a lasting impression. In other words, I want to create something that leaves everyone saying "Wow, I would have never thought of that!".
